War of the Canvas

 

 

 

When we were in Texas I went to Burlington Coat Factory twice. The first time I bought a $300 coat for $60. Super warm and I NEEDED to replace my 8 year old winter coat. The second time I went I found this canvas.  I’ve been wanting something big to hang up in my living room above the couch.  This is 2×3. Not quite what I had in mind, but it would do. Plus it was only $15. TNT was a good sport and didn’t complain toting it around in the pickup for 4 days while we were in TX and then all 643 miles home.  It was a pain, but it got home in perfect condition. We got home I put it up and I really liked it…………

until I walked into the floral & gift shop after work on Friday and I saw this. The price tag made me cringe, but I loved it.  I walked out of the store and sat in my vehicle for a few minutes and thought you know I like it and I got paid today.  Why the hell not?

As you can imagine TNT was not please with my new purchase after all the troubles the canvas in Dallas caused.  But I reassured him I’d still use it.  I’m going to redo our bedroom. Right now it’s nautical decor so I think I’ll take all that down and put up that picture.  The walls & comforter match the colors in the canvas so we are good to go.
