Link up with Kat @ Living Like the Kings!
Four weeks already? WOW!!
Monday I edited pictures from the Ooh La La session I had on the 20th. One good thing about being slow at work I can edit pictures. (shhhh) Tuesday Vistaprint was having a sale so I ordered a bunch of Senior Rep postcards to send out to the 2014 Seniors. Tuesday evening it was Rockin’ Chalkin’ Jayhawkin’ with KU winning the Sunflower Showdown against the K-State Wildcats!! Molly watching me & TNT yelling at the TV. I’m KU and TNT is KSU. That night I made homemade Chinese and this is to die for egg drop soup! Wednesday night was vball again. We went 1-1 and played really really good. When we got back to the parking lot where us carpoolers meet this filled to the brim pickup was parked beside me. Thursday night was “I don’t want to cook night” so took pizza home after work. Friday I got off work at 3. Did some shopping and picked up some frozen yogurt on my way home. Caramel with sea salt and I add in some sprinkles. When I got home I had received my free zales string of pearls. I had to reorder my right hand ring that TNT got me for xmas and this was a free gift if I spent over $150. I’m not a pearl gal, but I’ll use it in my Ooh La La sessions.
Friday evening I couldn’t take my kitchen anymore so I took everything out of the fridge and cleaned all the shelves then organized. Same with the pantry. Saturday morning Tails found a warm spot to sun himself. Late morning TNT and I ran to town to get some parts at John Deere & I needed a few things at the store. You know you’re a farm wife when you don’t mind sitting in an implement lot! Molly begging for my corn-dog from Sonic. I know it’s the last weekend in Jan, but I’m so happy to see little buds on my tree. Saturday afternoon I worked my butt off on the Ooh La La session I had scheduled for Sunday. I made a cute cupcake with a cherry on top for a sexy valentines day theme. Well at 6 the gal emailed and said she had to cancel.
All that hard work. Oh well. I grilled up some rib-eyes. Sunday these two hon-yachts worked “hard.”
It was 60 degrees outside and Molly wanted to hang inside. Silly puppy. Tails well since he’s an inside cat this was his usual spot. And people wonder why my furniture is always covered in blankets…..evidence right here with both of them on the furniture. I scrapbooked, took a nap and watched Signs for the 987th time. LOVE THAT MOVIE!! After the movie I took a 45 min walk around the farm. It was gorgeous out!! Not a typical Kansas winter right now. For supper I made chicken fried steak with mashed taters.
