On Thursday we had high winds here in NW Kansas. I left for lunch and instantly my eyes were watering. And it was COLD! Around 2:00 my boss hollered up to us girls here in the office and said “there’s a wall of dust heading our way.” The radio was toning it for everyone to beware. Visibility was 50 feet. Not a nice day!
Those are not clouds moving in from the horizon. That is DUST!!
This is 5 minutes after the above picture was taken!! 5 minutes. At times it was worse and other times it was like this. I made it home without any problems, but once I got in the house I stayed there. Burr.
These pics are from last year when we had three BIG dust storms come through! Notice my tree isn’t vertical.
This is what my porch looked like after one of those dust storms.
Everything was covered in dirt. 
All I can say is UGH
