2012 Review

I say it every year, but wow 2012 went fast. Blogging took a back seat this year as my photography business got busy. I’m not sure why all my pictures on my posts are not visible.  So sorry for that.

January- My dad had double knee replacement, Mildred had her ACL replaced so 4 days were spent in hospitals.  Happy to report that both are doing GREAT!!  Updated my living room and made it very studio friendly. Took maternity pictures of my cousin & her husband & of course Mildred was my assistant!

February – I take the Jayhawks seriously and I yelled at a Texas fan.  I could have been arrested for being a creeper.

March – I had to do some dumpster diving to save Tails’ poop sample. I got to meet my cousins’ baby and take newborn pictures of him. <3 Worked on the tree row some more. TNT traveled to Nashville for four days.

April – TNT & I celebrated 4 years of marriage.  TNT pulled the race car out and raced. Mildred moved into her first house. My MIL makes me really tired. Tried my first mini sessions and they were a complete success!

May – Mildred and I took a trip to the East Coast for TNT’s cousins’ wedding. We met the in-laws out there. Yes I know it’s weird that my sister goes with me to TNT’s family stuff. But I’m lucky that my in-law family has accepted my sister like she’s part of the family.  Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 Day 4, Day 4 Part 2. I got to meet the wonderful Jennifer Warthan!! She’s amazing!

June – Caught TNT playing angry birds on the tractor. Wheat harvest 2012 was really really good. Took a trip to North Platte, NE for our 2nd annual girls weekend to see Toby Keith & Brantley Gilbert.

July – Mildred turned 28. My Dad got married.    TNT & I went to the mountains in CO. I had a little mix up when a lady called one morning.  Bought a new lens. Ouchie! Put new siding on the old garage (one day studio).

August – I bonked my head on Mildred cabinet.  Someone stunk up the car.   Mildred adopted 2 babies. They were so wittle! TNT got into a bad wreck racing. I won Grand Champion at the county fair.

September – I painted my front door yellow. Wheat drilling was successful (would have been better with moisture), corn harvest was terrible.  We did have fun at the lake though.

October – Halloween found me and Mildred crashing a party! Seeley girl had her babies! I repainted the spare bedroom.

November – Ran down my favorite Big Bang Episodes. Seeley’s kittens find a new home. I had Christmas mini sessions coming out of my ears. Molly went diving in the trash.

December - Our neighbors saw Seeley and said that’s our cat so they took her home.  We were heartbroken. TNT had even bought her a toy.  Sure after all the hard work of finding 6 kittens good homes they take her back.  If we’d have known we would have kept one of her kitties. Blizzard right before Christmas. Tails & Molly fight like cats & dogs!
